Die Ausstellung „WILD“ thematisiert die Darstellung des Tieres in der aktuellen Kunst und zeigt Arbeiten von Künstlerinnen und Künstlern, die sich in Ihrem Werk thematisch u.a. mit den Dimensionen der Mensch-Tier bzw. Kultur-Natur Beziehung auseinandersetzen. Berücksichtigung findet dabei u.a. das instrumentelle Verhältnis, sowie das durch den Menschen verursachte Artensterben. Die Kunst wird dabei zum Spiegel unserer Zeit des Klimawandels und der ökologischen, wirtschaftlichen und politischen Instabilität.

The exhibition WILD explores the representation of animals in contemporary art, bringing together works by artists whose practices engage with the complex relationships between humans and animals, as well as culture and nature. The exhibition addresses themes such as the instrumentalization of animals and the ongoing loss of biodiversity caused by human activity. In this context, the artworks become a reflection of our present moment—shaped by climate change and ecological, economic, and political instability.
