Artists’ Books for Everything/Künstlerbücher für Alles
Diese Publikation erschien als Dokumentation des Projektes „Künstlerbücher für Alles“ im Zentrum für Künstlerpublikationen, Weserburg Museum für moderne Kunst, 2.06. – 6.08.2017. Der Katalog enthält Abbildungen von 401 Künstlerbüchern, eingesandt als Reaktion auf den internationalen Call for Artists‘ Books des Zentrums für Künstlerpublikationen, sowie jeweils einen ausgefüllten Fragebogen zum Buch in Faksimile. Das Projekt fand in Verbindung mit der zweisemestrigen Lehrveranstaltung Künstlerbücher in Theorie und Praxis am Institut für Kunstwissenschaft und Kunstpädagogik der Universität Bremen statt. Artists’ Books for Everything versammelt Werke aus über 26 Ländern und zeigt die Bedeutung und den Stellenwert des Künstlerbuches in der aktuellen Kunst auf. This publication was published as documentation of the project “Artists’ Books for Everything” in the Center for Artists’ Publications, Weserburg Museum for Modern Art, June 2nd. – August 6, 2017. The catalog contains images of 401 artists’ books, submitted in response to the International Call for Artists’ Books by the Center for Artists’ Publications, as well as a completed questionnaire about the book in facsimile. The project took place in conjunction with the two-semester course on artists’ books in theory and practice at the Institute for Art Studies and Art Education at the University of Bremen. Artists’ Books for Everything brings together works from over 26 countries and shows the meaning and significance of the artist’s book in current art.
